Daily and Custom Hashtags
It is easy to be confused by Hashtags, and to break them down simply-they are ways to have your content found by someone who finds your content/hashtag relevant. Daily trending things are great ways to post something relevant not only to yourself, but your life/business on a daily basis on Social Media. There are hundreds of options per day of hashtags, but I would like to talk about the hashtags I enjoy using or find useful:
Daily Hashtags:
Weekdays:
#MondayMotivation - I like affirmations on Mondays for posts
#TakeMeBackTuesday - this is great for nostalgia days, like maybe posting an old city map,etc
#WellnessWednesday or #WisdomWednesday - could be great for "blake-isms"
#ThrowBackThursday - similar to tuesday, but this could be used to tell a funny story
#FridayFunday - a fun photo to end the week and start the weekend
Weekends:
#Caturday - you can't forget about the cats!
#SaturdayShenanigans - showing what you are up to on Sat
#SharingSunday - is good too for maybe sharing something your team or agents last week.

Custom Hashtag:
When creating a custom hashtag, it should either reference the name of the person or the business for example:
Business: I have a client who runs a painting business, while he employs other people-when some one calls in they talk to Lindon. He is often entrusted with making decisions for styles or colors, and has a good knack for it. So, when I was making his custom hashtag I incorporated his name and an aspect of how he does business:
#LeaveItToLindon
Personal: My husband was playing with the idea of a custom hashtag, his name is Gene. He was deciding between a couple and the lasting ideas centered around how knowledgeable he was or how often someone would come to him with a question and he would find/have the answer. The winner, after going on a poll was:
#AskGene
Experts say, and I would mostly agree with this-that when using hashtags it is good to mix it up with both custom and trending hashtags. Some experts say you can even use older non trending hashtags, but I would use those at your discretion as using an older non trending hashtag may end up giving your content less legs to walk with.
