Facebook: Marketplace

Welcome Back, what did you think about my post blog? It made me realize I need to do more blogs about Facebook business tools in all reality! Today's blog is about the Facebook Marketplace. Have you heard of it? Have you used it? Let's jump in:

Marketplace:
We are logged back into our personal Facebook and looking at our News Feed screen. To the left below your name and photo are four words, Newsfeed/Messenger/Watch/Marketplace-click it and virtually walk into the marketplace with me!

I actually find a lot of similarities to this, when you compare it to what Craigslist was trying to be or used to be, but much more visual and better as they connect it with your profile and know your likes and activity. Let's break this down a bit:

Browse: by search bar, by category, or by groups. Use the filter to enhance results.
Buying: anyone you message on the marketplace will show up on there with the product.
Selling: If you are selling anything you can see it all listed here, with stats and messages.
Saved Items: If you looked at something and wanted to buy it or message them later, it shows here.

Thinking of selling something?

You can sell Items, Cars, and even Houses! Depending on what you are selling, fill out the appropriate information and post! You can view who messages you about your item, as well as having a Seller Rating- how quick do you respond to messages? Did other people enjoy buying from you? How many followers do you have in the marketplace? 

Something to note that I have learned in using it to help business get more eyes on their product- is that if your going to do it, do it well and consistently.
