Social Media Time Management

I have been covering a lot about Social Media lately, it is all around us and a tough thing to integrate into our business for many reasons but one of the biggest ones is...Time. Who has the time for that? Who even knows how to do that, and if you don't, the time to learn? We touched briefly on Time Management or Time Blocking when discussing The One Thing by Gary Keller. This is a perfect example of that in action.

- Time Block for your Social Media for 30 minutes in the AM.
If you plan your posts in advance, all you need to do is spread it once the first one goes out.

-Social Media is a step in your Marketing plan.
You should already have a plan for what you market, how you market, and what your goal for it is. Under that is where you carve out your time to get your posts out.

-Plan, Plan, Plan
Based upon your marketing plan, or the time of year, and what has already gone out to the web; it is quite easy to figure out something to post. If you can time block planning time, you don't need very much more time to finish and execute your posts.

-There is no such thing as free marketing
You can not be successful if you do not expose your brand to your customers. If you think about it though, your time can have a monetary value put on it. Why not use your time and utilize free tools to grow your business?

-Do it right, and soon enough you can hire that out
Putting in the time you need to will pay off, sooner than you think. Soon you can hire the social media out, even to someone who knows it better than you, and not only help them but enjoy the small benefits of putting in hours of work to get successful results!
