Zombie Marketing: Phase 1

Who is ready for Phase 1? Who thought when I said we were starting that it would of been Phase 0? There is always pre-work to any major step in a process, especially Step 1! Onto Phase 1...

Zombie Marketing - Jack Larson

Phase 1: Onset of Pandemic, Morbidity in at least 1 Segment of the Population

Here, now that Phase 0 is done, we need to generate a sales contagion. As usual, we start with Patient Zero and let the virus double and quadruple as it will. Some factors of spreading to consider are:
1. Terrain
2. Defensive Capabilities
3. Clime
4. Susceptibility to Infection
So we need to target the right niches and facilitate expansion in new markets. Micro marketing pre-qualifies leads according to interests, and avoids immunized zombies, which creates a better chance of making hosts. Making sales is the goal of the marketing strategy.

Ch. 5: Target Rich Environments
Long term dedication to a niche market will translate into brand differentiation.

Ch. 6: Overcoming Resistance
Making a sale is a byproduct of properly directing the attention of your prospective buyers, once you get it. A "freemium" or sample policy is great, as most people do not refuse free samples. This more so is an investment in a long term partnership with your buyer and they in you, your initial "loss" will become future support for future products.

Ch. 7 Closing in for the Kill
Offer compelling reasons to invest in one another while removing obstacles and barriers. In reality, sales are 9 parts planning and 1 part execution.

Join me next week for Phase 2! What did you think of Phase 1?
