Professional Photos Changes, How To's, and Uses

We are in the last couple of weeks, and we often find ourselves with some downtime to get to those random things we want to do, but it wasn't important enough to prioritize higher than our other To Do's. One of those things is Your Professional Photo. Think about it, when was the last time you updated it? Should you be retaking yours, if you should, where do you begin?

-When should you retake your photo?
Some would say often, others would say once a decade. If you take one annually, then you can have it on hand in case you need it. Or that one time you are reordering cards but maybe changed hair styles for the first time in forever. What you should not have is a photo that is 10 years old and that looks nothing like you.

-How do I retake my photo?
I would do your self up really nice (Hair, Face, Nice shirt) and try to relax. You can do it successfully against a neutral color wall, or outside in a park. Someone else taking it is better, but I have randomly gotten lucky with a self taken photo being a really good main photo. You should be center

-What Can I use it for?
You can use it for your LinkedIn Profile, Facebook, Instagram, Business Cards, and so much more. Using the same image across all your platforms also helps to build an identity or brand online.

Let me know how this helps you and if you would like any assistance in updating your photo!
